To: Saturday Wyvern St Edmund’s Families
We are looking forward to our end of term informal performances at Wyvern St Edmund’s. Dress for our young musicians is informal. There is always lots going on for families in the summer term, young musicians may have missed the odd Saturday session but please don’t let it stop them taking part. It is all a very relaxed musical occasion rather than a formal concert, all about enjoying making music and sharing it with family and friends.
Saturday 11 July
09:10 Intermediate Strings, Youth Choir – Main Hall
10:00 Junior Strings, Beginner Strings, Guitars and Children’s Choir – Main Hall
11:15 Training Wind Band, Junior Wind Band, Starter Clarinets and Flutes – Main Hall
There are no normal sessions just the performances for the above groups. Our Start the Music group will have their usual session with Asta.
For young musicians performing please arrive 10 minutes before the performance time (please do not arrive any earlier). Young Musicians will go to the canteen (opposite the main hall) and audience go to the main hall.
There will be our usual collection buckets at the end of the concert so please feel free to dig out some coins you can spare and bring them along to get the buckets rattling!
We will then be back making music after the summer break – the first Saturday will be 12 September
